BT1800 and 7797 Recliner

I received the BT1800 Battery pack for my 7797 recliner.
Unfortunately. My chair has the figure-8 (IEC-C7) AC inlet and not the 2 Pin connector.

I sent an email and got confirmation that it works with the 7797.

I only have two options to connect it. One is to disconnect the chair 29 volt line from the built in transformer and connect it to the BT1800. This way, I can’t use the ON/Off switch nor the builtin transformer.

The other way is NOT to use the BT1800 AC Adapter and instead feed the BT1800 pack 29V from the builtin transformer and have the BT1800 feed the chair. This way, I can use the switch and the built in transformer. But, the switch will only disconnect the AC while the chair will remain functioning until the battery completely discharges.

There should have been a clear instruction on how to connect it to the 7797 and all other figure-8 (IEC-C7) AC connection port.

Absolute necessity

I sleep in my recliner and if we had a power failure I wouldn’t be able to get out. With the battery, I don’t have to worry about that.
